On Wednesday, Telangana achieved a new milestone by receiving a green signal from the National Medical Commission (NMC) for all nine medical schools in the state. The NMC approved Karimnagar Medical Colleges application for 100 medical seats for the forthcoming academic year.

All nine new medical colleges in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Kamareddy, Khammam, Vikarabad, Janagam, Rajanna Siricilla, Nirmal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Karimnagar will begin operations in the coming academic year.

The Health Minister, Mr. T. Harish Rao, stated that 900 MBBS seats will be added in the upcoming academic year, providing aspiring doctors unparalleled opportunities to serve people.

He lauded Chief Minister, Mr. K. Chandrashekhar Rao and noted that Telangana has grown from 5 to 26 government medical colleges in just 9 years under his leadership.
